Less Sleep - Week 41

 Hi everyone! This week has been hectic with the amount of work that I'm getting now. Monday was actually pretty relaxed considering I didn't have any extracurricular that day and I actually took a nap. I managed to get my work done at a respectable time as well. Tuesday was a bit of a different story as there was golf practice and I was still able to get most of what I needed to do done. Wednesday was the first meeting for Science Olympiad and Tri-M for new members. I woke up earlier for Tri-M and stayed behind school for Science Olympiad. I relapsed into the habit of going to the library after the meeting and I managed to get some good work done there. I still took a while to unwind since the day really takes a lot out of me. Thursday was when everything started to go sideways, I actually didn't get much sleep from Wednesday night and even though I was able to nap a bit after school, I was still dead tired. Friday was the same story as Thursday and I managed to finish the week strong. I ended up hanging out with friends after school as well which was a well deserved break! 

During the weekend, I decided to catch up on that sleep, averaging over 10 hours each day. I also decided to catch up on my golf practice since the district conference is coming up. I put in a lot of work in practicing, probably about 8-9 hours total over the weekend. Even though this cut into my studying time a lot, I still think it was worth it. There was a lot of work assigned to this weekend, specifically lots of reading. Our English teacher launched a test on my class, but mentioned on Thursday that there were some chapters we had to know that we were never assigned to read. These chapters are long and difficult to dissect. Even now I am struggling with them and I am saving them for tomorrow morning to finish. It is almost 3am right now and I need to get some sleep... In general this week was pretty dull and there's not much to write on. 

I think that's a good part to end it off on. On a side note, I wrote my common application essay on this blog! Me and my sister reviewed it and I'm really proud on how it turned out. I think it's a really good essay! Anyways... Thanks for reading!
