Start of School - Week 37
School has officially just started and I haven't made a post on this blog since the beginning of summer. I'll do a quick recap on most of what I did during the break! First of all, my family went on a trip to Glacier National Park! This is before all of the wildfires and the dude that jumped off the mountain of course. I wish I could show all the pictures, but that seems unfeasible, so I made a montage of what I did there!
There were a lot of difficulties and I even helped drive there, but it was a really fun experience and I got a new camera to use there! I think it was beautiful there and I would like to go there again someday when I'm older!
After the trip, I went to practice and cram for golf tryouts. I made varsity and even though I didn't start very well and shot badly during tryouts, it's all about how you finish and I am doing much better right now. The team recently played the Den which is the State competition course for boys golf and I shot an 81 there! I'm kind of sad that this is the last time I'll go on this trip, especially since I missed many opportunities to play due to covid.
Now that school has started, everything is in full swing. I have golf going on, college and common apps, EYSO and violin, and just studies in general. So far my classes seem fun and I like the teachers I have, but it seems like there is so much work to do! I'm going to be weighed down a lot like I was last year, especially with added common apps. I hope I can grind mostly everything out before clubs fully start up as well.
Well that's it mostly, I have to get back to studying and catching up on work that I haven't been able to start yet! Thanks for reading and coming back!
