Continuation- Week 33

Hi everyone, I am back from the break and from the AP tests as well. It's been a stressful few weeks with a lot of things going on. I'll do a quick rundown of my AP tests and how prom went this week! But first I should mention how EYSO is over and we just recently had out last concert in the Blizzard Theatre last week. I think the performance was really good and the last piece we played was pretty heartwarming because it means a lot to all the seniors that are leaving the orchestra. We played Turtle Dove which was a piece based off of an old folk song.

The rest of the time in the break, there were lots of AP tests that I had to do and I ended up missing class a lot as well. For AP Chemistry, I ended up skipping the first half of the day to catch up on some sleep so I could do better on the test. I feel like the multiple choice was kind of difficult for it and I'm not too confident on it. For the FRQ I feel like I did better except for the 7th question, since that was the hardest and I didn't know how to do it. It was fine since I ran out of time and I answered what I could for partial credit. For my next test, BC Calculus, I feel like it was decent overall. The multiple choice questions were kind of iffy and the FRQs are also kind of iffy, but in general I think that it was alright. I feel like I wasn't prepared enough for the test because I didn't remember how to do one of the FRQ questions and it got me stuck for a while. For AP English Language, the multiple choice didn't feel too bad but the essays were terrible for me. I took too much time for my synthesis essay and I had no time to write the rest. I think that it could've been better for sure, but I still tried my best. For French, this was an all around disaster, I don't think I did well in anything for it. I tried my best in everything. Multiple choice I couldn't understand anything and the essay was decent. The speaking was not that good and I could have prepared for that better as well. I think in general I have chances to get 5s on the tests and I'll most likely get 4s on most of them.

This week was also prom week and I didn't go to the actual school hosted prom and I did my own thing. We decided to take pictures at Patterson Lake since the sunset there was so good. It was really fun and we ate at Meson Sabrika. Afterwards we went on a joyride and sang a bit of karaoke and walked by the riverside in downtown Naperville. I don't think I could've asked for a better night and I think it went really well. I'm glad that I got to do it with this girl :).

Anyways that's all for the last two weeks, there's not much that happened besides those things, and those were big ones as well. I hope everyone's having a good week and enjoying life while schools about to end. Science Olympiad medals are coming out soon and we hope to film a hype video to get more members interested in it so we'll see how it goes!

Thanks for reading,

-Charlie
