Week 20- NOTES
Hey guys, I'm back. There's not much that happened last week so I think that this is a good opportunity to talk about the NOTES campaign for EYSO. NOTES is a fundraiser for the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra where we "send notes, to get notes, to play notes". Our tuition for the year is greatly reduced so in order to keep it like this and allow EYSO to keep running, we need as much support as we can get. There are many ways to donate but the best way is through my website here. Currently, I am playing violin in EYSO in the top symphony orchestra. There are many different skill levels for the orchestras and different ensembles than symphony orchestras. There are brass choir, percussion ensembles, and chamber groups that also perform and practice. Currently, we are learning a full symphony and we are planning to play it at our next concert and it is definitely worth it to go. You guys can also join today with this link leading to the audition page. I definitely think that it is worth it to join for the experience. We have fun events all year long and it really helps to improve your playing.
Well that's it for now, I have a bunch of tests to study for this week and I have to do a bunch of things after school now. So I'll be very busy this next week. I'll see you guys later.
-Charlie
P.S. The NOTES program is tax deductible and you'll also receive a statement when the fundraiser is over for tax purposes later.
