Week 9 - Halloween

Hey guys, I'm really sorry for doing this so so late, does it even count that I did it this week? I don't know and I'm gonna count it anyways, but you can bet that I'm not gonna do it again (for a while at least...). I was a bit busy on Saturday with a Halloween party and I was a bit distracted today. I'm gonna talk about the party, and a little insight into next week. It's a bit late right now so I'll keep this short.

So on Saturday, I went to a Halloween Party and it was pretty fun! I went in a conical hat and a black cloak, so it's kind of like one of those old Chinese Assassins. It was pretty fun, there was a lot of food, a big fire, bunch of games and a bunch of fun lights. It was better to do it on Saturday than actual Halloween because no one wanted to be exhausted for school the next day. I really liked the party and layout of the basement. There was candy, air hockey, pool, foosball, a sound system, couches, balloons, and a bunch of other games. The basement was a bit small, but it was a fine since it was a relatively small party. Eventually it ended and I went back home and stayed up a bit longer before sleeping. That's mostly what happened on Saturday and I had a great time, it was a good was to relax after school ended for the week.

Next week, I have a lot going on. I won't elaborate that much and save a lot of the details for next week so I'm not starved, but there's still a lot of general overview I can give right now (and I can add what it was like actually doing it next week anyways). First off, after school and clubs, I really enjoy going to the Aurora Public Library and studying, I feel like it's a way different environment than I have in my house and it helps me concentrate more. But if anyone wants to go... you know how to contact me :). However, it might be a bit difficult this week because I have club meetings on pretty much all days of the week. On Monday I plan to go to Math Club and maybe check out the Ping Pong they set up. I went for a bit last week and it was pretty fun. On Tuesday, I plan on going to the Wood Shop in the school and work on a project for Science Olympiad. It's going to be a stopwatch that's kind of like a pendulum, but uses a marble rolling around instead of a washer tied to a string. I'll probably get something to drink first, and then head towards the library since I'll probably be a bit tired. On Wednesday, I usually go to Science Olympiad, but there's really no point, so I'll probably try and record a video submission for Prism small ensembles if I can. Afterwards, I have a party at Topgolf for the Boys Golf Team celebrating the end of the season. I really look forward to that and spending time with my teammates for the last time for a while. On Thursday, it's back to building for Science Olympiad, this time I'm working on Wright Stuff and I'll probably be teaching some of the new members how to build it as well. And on Friday, well, I'm relatively free I think, but the grind doesn't stop so it's off to the library again.

Well that's most of what's happening next week. I look forward to seeing how it goes. Also, we've officially seen 500 views on this website's posts. That's a lot to me since it doesn't feel like a lot of people I know would read this. Especially since you have to READ it. I know that last week was also about extracurriculars and this week was also kind of about it. I'm sorry that I don't have anything else interesting going on right now. I really want to be able to focus an article on something that isn't school. Speaking of school, we found out that finals are before winter break! I totally thought that it was after winter break because the district calendar shows that we get from break, then 4 days, then the semester ends. I guess that we won't do anything for those days... But since finals are before Winter Break, I'm thinking of renting another movie theatre to watch Spiderman No Way Home either the day school ends, or the day after. I'm thinking the day after because we'd probably all be exhausted from finals and it's better if we had a day to rest. I'm thinking of renting at Tinseltown and I can bring 30 people. That would be about $10 per person, so please let me know eventually if you want to go. Please make sure that you can actually go or tell me ASAP if you can't. It'll probably be a first come first serve basis and you guys would be the first to know! But that's still a while away and 30 people is still a lot. Well this actually turned out longer than I thought it would be, I usually try and schedule and edit the times so that they line up, but I want to confess to this mistake and set it later than the others.

Thanks for checking this out!
